Systems Engineer

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team in a contract-to-hire position focused on software interface design, development, and integration. This role sits at the crucial intersection of hardware and software, where you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless communication between system components.

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing software interfaces that enable effective communication between hardware, software, and external systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, create interface specifications, and ensure robust system integration.

Your responsibilities will span from requirements analysis and interface development to testing and system maintenance. You'll be designing and optimizing APIs, protocols, and middleware while ensuring all interfaces meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. The role involves conducting comprehensive testing at various levels and providing technical support to team members.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 annually, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role after 6 months. This is an on-site position in Manassas, VA, where you'll be working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to critical system integration projects.
