Description For Senior DevOps Engineer
LawDepot.com is expanding and seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Information Systems team. This remote, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) involves designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps infrastructure to ensure seamless software deployment, scalability, and security.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cloud transformation strategy
- Implementing and improving DevOps projects and pipelines
- Mentoring on Azure DevOps and Git best practices
- Advocating for DevOps best practices
- Providing technical recommendations
- Overseeing code and documentation reviews
- Collaborating on cloud deployment strategies
- Troubleshooting and supporting development teams
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education in Computing Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of DevOps experience
- Expert knowledge of DevOps principles
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
- Proficiency with DevOps Pipelines
- Strong knowledge in Terraform and Ansible
- JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Advanced PowerShell and Docker proficiency
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of testing fundamentals

Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Spearhead the planning and implementation of cloud transformation strategy
- Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of DevOps projects and pipelines
- Train, coach, and mentor stakeholders on Azure DevOps and Git version control best practices
- Advocate for DevOps best practices to the DevOps Guild
- Provide constructive feedback and technical recommendations across teams
- Oversee code and documentation reviews
- Work with the Infrastructure team to test and resolve issues deploying new hardware / software
- Troubleshoot issues and support development teams with project deployments
- Research and evaluate new technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to plan cloud deployment strategy
- Document procedures and mentor team members

- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
- Expert knowledge of DevOps principles

- Proficiency with DevOps Pipelines (Azure or Gitlab, GitHub Actions, other CI/CD solutions)
- Strong knowledge in Terraform and Ansible (or Bicep, ARM)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for Node.js and web applications
- In-depth knowledge in PowerShell
- Advanced proficiency in Docker
- Experience administering in Windows and Linux environments
- Ability to manage NuGet/NPM Feeds
- Knowledge of testing fundamentals: Unit Testing and Integration Testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
