Full Stack Engineer

Leafpress is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in building a billion-dollar climate-tech AI company. They are backed by Y Combinator and General Catalyst, and are on a high-growth trajectory.

About Leafpress: Leafpress automates utility data collection for large real estate firms by extracting data from millions of utility bills at once, automating reporting to sustainability regulators. They use large language models to equip real estate companies with accurate data collected in minutes, not months.

The Problem: Sustainability teams currently spend over 100M work hours annually manually sifting through utility data, leading to inaccurate data and millions in corporate fines. Leafpress aims to solve this problem with their automated approach.

The Role: As a Full Stack Engineer at Leafpress, you will:

• Develop and maintain the backend services of Leafpress
• Collaborate on feature requests, integrations, and documentation improvements
• Engage with customers for product feedback and contributions
• Work closely with the product team to understand end-user requirements
• Shape core LLM workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with building LLM prompting and workflows
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with SQL or similar
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
