Lean TECHniques is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to join their team in a hybrid work environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality cloud solutions while growing both technical and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Azure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and networking concepts, with a strong foundation in security best practices.
The position involves leading client delivery teams, ensuring project success, and maintaining high client satisfaction. You'll be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, contributing to technical workshops, and staying current with industry trends. The role requires both technical excellence in Azure solutions and strong leadership skills to manage team dynamics and client relationships.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing Azure solutions from scratch, ensuring technical excellence in all aspects from pipeline setup to security and observability. You'll need to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to understand system-wide impacts of technical decisions.

Responsibilities For Senior Azure Engineer
- Demonstrate strong client impact by meeting or exceeding delivery expectations
- Ensure performance meets or exceeds client satisfaction standards
- Actively identify, resolve, and report project issues and blockers
- Lead and collaborate within a high-performing client delivery team
- Provide guidance and coaching to mid and junior engineers
- Contribute to technical workshops annually
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Follow LT Standard Operating Procedures

- Expert in Infrastructure As Code
- Expert in Azure
- Expert in CI/CD Pipelines
- Expert in Networking concepts (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Subnetting, Firewalls, etc)
- Expert in Security best practices and tradeoffs
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think critically about how a change impacts an entire system
- Achieve a minimum of 1 Pro/Speciality or Advanced level certification
