Principal Engineer

Lean Technologies is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead their development efforts in Pune, India. As the first regulated open banking platform in UAE and Saudi Arabia, Lean has processed billions of dollars and connected hundreds of thousands of accounts. The Principal Engineer will be a technical figurehead across the India operation, leading infrastructure development that underpins the future of the financial ecosystem. This role involves overseeing engineering efforts across all teams, from technical specifications and code review to implementation of complex solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java microservices, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.

Key responsibilities include contributing to product vision, resolving technical challenges, ensuring scalable platforms, and acting as a trusted advisor to leadership. The role requires strong experience in microservice architecture, REST APIs, and DevOps practices.
