Description For Senior IT Support Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer (Apple) who is passionate about technology and eager to foster a reliable IT work environment for our global organization. Here, you will have the opportunity to support our systems, contribute to our processes, and provide essential support to our business.

Location: Bonn, Germany or Ljubljana, Slovenia – On-site Contract type: 12-month fixed-term contract

  • Be the primary point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over a diverse range of software and hardware issues
  • Deliver effective 1st level support on-site
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining audio and video equipment
  • Participate in testing and integrating new technologies into our existing IT infrastructure
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive training materials and technical documentation
  • Analyze support requests to uncover underlying issues and trends
  • Contribute to the standardization and ongoing improvements of IT Support processes and service quality

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in a technical help desk or support role
  • Specialized knowledge of IT and Apple technologies, particularly in managing a fleet of Mac and iPhone devices using asset management systems and administering those devices remotely
  • Experience with ticketing/service desk applications (e.g. Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate technical content clearly
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt swiftly to constantly changing environments
  • Ideally experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Identity Management with Okta
    • Microsoft365 administration
    • Mobile device management (e.g. JAMF or Microsoft Intune)
    • Administration of Atlassian products (Confluence & Jira)
