Cloudstack Engineer - Public Cloud Scalability Team

Leaseweb is seeking a highly experienced Cloudstack Engineer for their Public Cloud Scalability Team. This role involves collaborating with and contributing to the Apache CloudStack project, maintaining Leaseweb's CloudStack deployments, and working on software improvements. The ideal candidate will have a true DevOps mentality and skillset, with deep knowledge of Linux and networking.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining close collaboration with the Apache CloudStack community
• Developing and supporting the Apache CloudStack project
• Maintaining Leaseweb's CloudStack deployments, both operationally and in software improvements
• Resolving customer issues with CloudStack by solving bugs and introducing features
• Participating in the on-duty rotation schedule

The role requires extensive experience with Java development in a cloud hosting context, knowledge of Python for automation and testing, excellent understanding of virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU, and libvirt), and strong Linux skills. Experience with networking, storage automation, and tools like Git, Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes, and Docker is advantageous.
