Datacenter Operations Engineer

Leaseweb, a rapidly expanding company in the APAC region, is seeking a Datacenter Operations Engineer to join their growing team. This role is crucial in managing their current 6 data center facilities across Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia, with plans to open 3 more locations in the near future.

As a Datacenter Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for the configuration and installation of servers during the provisioning process, primarily in the Singapore data center, but also in other regional locations as needed. Your expertise will be valuable in assisting customers with the installation of network equipment for complex designs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing, configuring, relocating, and removing server equipment
• Assisting customers within data centers
• Upgrading and downgrading server equipment
• Replacing hardware and handling administrative matters
• Testing servers and equipment according to standards
• Collaborating with remote hands partners in the APAC region

To excel in this role, you should have:

• At least one year of hands-on experience in a data center environment
• Knowledge of various operating systems, especially Linux
• Familiarity with hardware components like servers, switches, and KVMs
• Basic network knowledge
• A certificate or degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Professional English communication skills
