As a Front End Engineer in the Consumer Services organization, you'll be responsible for bringing web3 services to Ledger users, enabling them to safely buy, swap, or sell crypto from Ledger Live. This role is perfect for those passionate about crypto, DeFi, and staking, with an interest in exchanges and crypto trading.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the technical aspects of desktop and mobile development for Consumer Services
- Collaborating with developers, QA, designers, and product teams
- Engaging with partner companies for smooth integrations
- Participating in code reviews and promoting best practices
- Ensuring high-quality standards through testing and attention to detail
- Mentoring and promoting tech growth within the front-end team
- Innovating in crypto services with a focus on quality software, UI/UX, security, and blockchain technology
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end software development
- Strong coding principles with expertise in JavaScript frameworks, preferably React and TypeScript
- Proficiency in testing technologies like Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library
- Attention to UI design and user experience
- Experience with complex, performance-focused projects
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity

Requirements For Front End Engineer - Consumer Services
- 5+ years of experience in front-end software development
- Strong coding principles with extensive experience in any JavaScript framework, preferably React
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Proficiency in using testing technologies and practices, such as Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library
- Attention to detail in UI design
- Experience with complex projects emphasizing performance and scalability
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies)
