The role offers an exciting opportunity to establish a domain-driven data architecture within Lendable, working across crucial areas including Credit, Collections, Decision Science, and Growth. You'll be instrumental in shaping the company's data future, working with cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.

As a Contractor Analytics Engineer, you'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful improvements across multiple domains. Your responsibilities will include overseeing data modeling architecture, developing DBT models, mentoring analysts, and maintaining high data quality standards. The position requires strong proficiency in data modeling, experience with ELT processes, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities For Contractor Analytics Engineer

  • Overseeing the data modelling architecture and implementation for products
  • Driving the development of DBT models and collaborating with analysts
  • Supporting and mentoring analysts at all technical levels
  • Acting as a liaison between backend engineers and product teams
  • Contributing to the overall data platform strategy
  • Maintaining the highest data quality standards

Requirements For Contractor Analytics Engineer

  • Strong proficiency in data modelling and deep understanding of data analysis
  • Strong experience with ELT, focusing on transformations at scale, preferably with DBT
  • Extensive experience with Snowflake or alternative data warehouses
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Capacity to balance long-term platform improvements with daily operational needs
  • Ability to upskill and mentor non-technical colleagues in analytics engineering
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders
