PHP Engineer

Lendable, a UK fintech unicorn valued with a team of over 400 people, is seeking a well-rounded PHP Engineer to join their mission of revolutionizing consumer finance. The role focuses on developing the future of credit at Lendable, particularly targeting challenging credit markets in Latin America.

The position involves working with modern PHP development practices, with Symfony as the primary framework. You'll be part of a team handling critical responsibilities including security-first API integrations, fraud detection systems, credit card systems adaptation, and leveraging data for improved credit decisions.

The tech stack is comprehensive and modern, including latest PHP/Symfony versions, AWS, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes for backend; React and TypeScript for frontend; and modern AI tools like Greptile, CodeRabbit, and Co-pilot to enhance development efficiency.
