Python Engineer

Lendable is seeking a full-stack Python engineer to join their Internal Tools team, focusing on delivering tools that maximize employee effectiveness. The role involves working with Generative AI/LLM adoption and traditional web applications. The company is one of the UK's newest unicorns, profitable since 2017, and backed by Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs.

The Internal Tools team supports both Operations and knowledge workers (Product, Engineering, and Data). Key projects include implementing LLM-based co-pilots for customer service, developing an in-house productivity tools hub, and creating solutions for fraud prevention and investor management.

The ideal candidate should have strong Python web application experience, JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge with modern frameworks (particularly React), and solid engineering principles. Experience with AI tools and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
