Staff DevOps Engineer

Levelpath, a venture-backed startup founded in 2022, is revolutionizing the modern procurement software industry. We're seeking an experienced Staff DevOps Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you'll drive DevOps direction, build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS, and work closely with our backend (Ruby on Rails) and frontend (React) teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving DevOps direction and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform
• Improving overall infrastructure quality, tools, and processes
• Increasing development leverage by collaborating with backend and frontend teams
• Ensuring infrastructure SOC2/GDPR compliance

We're looking for someone with:

• A proven track record in delivering business impact through DevOps evolution
• Strong skills in Terraform, AWS, Git, and Linux/networking
• Experience with Github Actions and Terraform Cloud (a plus)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of backend systems like Ruby on Rails/Django (a plus)
