Lead Software Engineer - Companies and Users

LevelTen Energy is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their mission of accelerating the energy transition by facilitating frictionless transactions. As the leading provider of renewable transaction infrastructure, LevelTen Energy delivers cloud-based software, centralized supply, automated analytics, and transaction expertise required to power the renewable energy economy.

In this role, you will be working with a highly skilled team of engineers to build their energy marketplace using a modern technology stack. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in designing and developing web applications, with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and UI frameworks like Angular or React. You should also have experience with relational SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as cloud deployment of web applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading technical solutions to achieve key business objectives
• Collaborating with product management to understand and implement business requirements
• Improving efficiency, communication, and quality
• Contributing to the source code while maintaining high coding standards
• Coaching and empowering less experienced engineers
• Investigating and solving production bugs across multiple levels of the stack

The position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $190,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include an annual bonus, equity grant, full medical/dental/vision coverage, 401k plan, flexible vacation policy, and a hybrid work schedule in the Seattle office.
