The role requires a skilled professional with at least 3 years of experience in a cloud provider or MSP environment. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating with multiple departments. The position involves handling network routing, security, virtualization, and storage solutions while maintaining high service availability.

Responsibilities For Support Engineer - Network

  • Act as a technical thought leader within the support organization
  • Field escalations from support team members and provide resolutions
  • Solve complex customer issues involving network routing, security, virtualization, storage, and disaster recovery
  • Collaborate with senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting
  • Engage with Operations Leaders to improve operational processes
  • Update internal documentation and procedures
  • Partner with Training department for technician training programs
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities
  • Provide after-hours support as part of on-call rotation

Requirements For Support Engineer - Network

Linux
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud provider or MSP environment
  • Strong experience with Cisco R/S
  • Advanced knowledge of storage solutions (Pure and SolidFire systems)
  • Advanced knowledge of firewall configuration (FortiGate)
  • Extensive experience in managing VMware environments
  • Proficiency in Backup Software (Acronis) and Disaster Recovery solutions (Zerto)
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
  • Cisco certifications preferred (CCNP, CCIP, CCIE)
