Lightfield, an innovative AI-driven CRM platform, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their Infrastructure & Data team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of customer relationship management through advanced AI technology.

The company, founded by veterans from projects like Llama, Messenger, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, is revolutionizing how founders find, understand, and serve their customers. Their system uniquely captures every customer interaction, automates follow-up actions, and provides real-time go-to-market insights.

As a Full Stack Engineer focusing on Infrastructure & Data, you'll be at the forefront of architecting and scaling the core systems that power this next-generation CRM. The role demands expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, with a particular emphasis on data infrastructure and scalable systems design.

Your responsibilities will span the entire technical stack, from designing robust data models and optimizing database performance to implementing reliable backend services and ensuring system scalability. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, while also having the opportunity to work with Large Language Models (LLMs).

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of software development experience, strong computer science fundamentals, and a proven track record of building high-performance data infrastructure. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for creating products that customers love.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Engineer, Infrastructure & Data

  • Build and maintain full-stack systems, end-to-end, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Architect and scale the data infrastructure and backend services that power Lightfield AI-driven CRM
  • Design and optimize data models to support CRM workflows, customer interactions, and AI-driven insights
  • Develop observability and metrics for smooth operation and proactive issue detection
  • Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews
  • Contribute to building a world-class engineering team through recruiting and mentorship

Requirements For Full Stack Engineer, Infrastructure & Data

  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • Deep experience building scalable, high-performance data infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of database design, indexing strategies, and query optimization

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong fundamentals in software engineering
  • Clear communication skills
