Senior Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at Lightmatter, you'll play a crucial role in developing the API that bridges photonic hardware and advanced interface systems. Your work will involve creating scalable backend services, implementing robust security protocols, and handling real-time data processing. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining APIs that support the flow of live and historical data between backend services and the frontend Next.js application.

Key responsibilities include API design and development, hardware monitoring and management, backend service development, and collaboration with front-end teams. You'll also focus on security and authentication, real-time data processing, and performance optimization.
