Staff Photonic Hardware Validation Engineer

Lightmatter builds chips for artificial intelligence computing, leveraging the unique properties of light for fast and efficient inference and training engines. As a Staff Photonic Hardware Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for advanced platform-level validation of next-generation Lightmatter products. Your role involves developing product-specific platform validation test plans, engaging with various engineering teams, and supporting customer deployment. You'll own the development of platform-level post-silicon validation strategies, define validation plans for qualification and high-volume manufacturing, and set up photonic validation capabilities. This position requires a strong background in photonics and semiconductor products, with hands-on experience in post-silicon chip, system power-on, and photonic validation. You'll work in a collaborative environment, solving challenging technical problems and contributing to the development of the world's first optical computers.
