Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer in Test - Embedded Systems

  • Design and implement Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) automated test infrastructure for embedded systems
  • Work closely with software and system owners to develop deep understanding of systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop testing coverage requirements
  • Author and execute test plans to ensure embedded systems meet functional and safety requirements
  • Root cause test failures and clearly document bugs for tracking purposes

Requirements For Senior Software Engineer in Test - Embedded Systems

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience testing software/firmware
  • Proven experience in embedded systems test infrastructure
  • Proficiency coding in C/C++
  • Experience with test automation and continuous integration
  • In-depth knowledge of CAN bus
  • Experience working on safety-critical systems
  • Self-directed and motivated with the ability to work effectively in uncertain situations
