The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL, have experience with data pipelines, and excel in data modeling. Key responsibilities include cleansing and transforming raw data, collaborating with data analysts and architects, ensuring data quality and usability, and providing technical leadership on data solutions. Responsibilities For Senior Analytics Engineer
- Cleanse and transform raw data into business logic
- Collaborate with data analysts and architects to design and feed data models
- Champion data quality and usability across the organization
- Write, clean, and maintain SQL/Python queries/scripts
- Automate testing of data models and monitor quality
- Provide technical leadership on forward-looking data solutions
- Continuously improve data pipeline
- Adopt and teach software engineering best practices
- Define and improve internal standards for data infrastructure
- Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers
Requirements For Senior Analytics Engineer
- Proficient skills with SQL
- Good knowledge of Python in a data analysis context
- Experience with MPP data warehouse (BigQuery)
- Experience with data orchestrator (cloud composer)
- Understanding of industry-standard design patterns for data warehouse data models
- Experience with cloud environments (GCP) and containerization solutions
- Experience with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelining, and automated testing
- Security mindset and understanding of compliances (GDPR, SOX)
- Excellent communication skills
