They're seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help deliver best-in-class AI for mental health care.

The role involves developing and maintaining ML capabilities that power their products, working with cutting-edge LLM technologies from industry leaders like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, as well as managing in-house instances of models like Llama. Recent projects include training models to detect problematic LLM outputs, deploying custom Meta Llama fine-tunes on AWS, and building dashboards for comparing therapeutic relationships across different AI agent interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills, experience with web frameworks, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms and containerization. They'll work in a hybrid setting from their central London office, contributing to a mission-driven company that values diversity and inclusion. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer

  • Build architecture to combine LLM features with in-house safety guardrails and clinical ML-models
  • Collaborate with machine learning scientists to integrate AI models with backend services
  • Help build and tune custom models
  • Ensure ML teams APIs integrate with product teams work
  • Troubleshoot, identify bottlenecks, and address backend issues

Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer

Python
  • >2 years of industry Machine Learning experience
  • Experience productionizing LLM features
  • Strong Python ability
  • Strong knowledge of at least 1 web framework
  • Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Ability to work from London office at least 1 day per week
  • Interest in the mental healthcare space
