Lime, the world's largest shared electric vehicle company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Hardware Engineering R&D team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable transportation, with the company having already powered over 700 million rides across 250+ cities globally.

The position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring deep knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to innovate in the electric vehicle space. You'll be working on developing and integrating new technologies into Lime vehicles, focusing on improving rider experience and fleet maintainability. The role involves everything from system architecture definition to board bring-up and testing.

As a senior member of the team, you'll be responsible for optimizing motor and power delivery systems, collaborating across departments, and mentoring junior engineers. The position offers competitive compensation ($113K – $174K), equity, and performance bonuses. While the role is remote-first, frequent travel to the San Francisco office is required for product development and testing.

The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of industry experience, strong PCB design skills, and experience with analog and digital circuit design.   • Develop electrical subsystems for Lime vehicles and parking infrastructure

  • Develop design guidelines, testing protocols, and test reports

Requirements For Senior Electrical Engineer, R&D

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Proficient in PCB design, production, and testing
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel frequently to San Francisco office
  • Experience with Altium designer (preferred)
  • Experience working with JDM/ODM (preferred)
