LinkedIn is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead their LLM Safety team, a critical component in ensuring AI Safety across all GenAI product launches. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of responsible AI development at the world's largest professional network.

You'll be responsible for driving strategy, research, and development of innovative solutions to assess and manage the safety and reliability of GenAI products. Key responsibilities include defining and executing a robust roadmap for LLM safety, collaborating with internal and external vendors for data labeling, and working cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Policy teams. You'll enhance LinkedIn's GenAI platform to provide scaled capabilities for red-teaming of GenAI products while ensuring smooth governance processes.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning, with at least 1 year of management experience leading AI/ML engineering teams or equivalent Staff-level experience. Strong technical foundations in data modeling and machine learning are essential, along with expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, and AI safety challenges.
