Data Engineering Manager (GTM)

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network with over 1 billion members, is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead their GTM Data Science team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive impact at massive scale, working with both B2B and B2C programs.

The position involves leading the Sales Data Science team, building critical data foundations that power LinkedIn's Sales insights, operations, and strategy. You'll work directly with Sales leaders to balance short-term agility with long-term strategic data initiatives.

As a leader, you'll manage high-performing data science and engineering professionals, driving large-scale strategic projects across teams and departments. The role requires deep expertise in data engineering, with hands-on experience in technologies like Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and Scala.

Key responsibilities include analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data, building scalable tools and applications for data insights, and acting as a thought partner to senior leaders. You'll provide technical mentorship to junior data scientists and lead code/design reviews.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industry experience, with at least 1 year in management or staff-level engineering. Strong leadership, communication skills, and experience with massive-scale data manipulation are essential.
