- Lead and develop talent through supporting growth, performance, and career development of engineers
- Drive technical excellence and lead design/architecture of key LinkedIn products
- Shape technology roadmap in partnership with product and senior management

Requirements For Director, Software Engineering
- 7+ years of hands-on technical management and people management experience
- 18+ years industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
- Expertise in designing and developing high-performance, scalable web applications
- Demonstrated ability to guide engineering teams in delivering multiple high-quality projects
- Experience leading and supporting large, cross-functional teams
- Strong track record of influencing stakeholders in a matrixed environment
