- Lead the Content Abuse Engineering charter
- Lead a team of AI and apps engineers and managers
- Own multiple charters including embedding based retrieval, generative AI, AI productivity, core foundational models
- Partner with cross functional leads to define roadmaps for content moderation
- Work closely with LinkedIn India leadership to build LinkedIn's brand in India
Requirements For Director, Software Engineering, Machine Learning
- 15+ years experience in machine learning, particularly in NLP, computer vision, generative AI, large language models
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related engineering experience
- 10+ years experience in people management
- Strong background in machine learning and data mining techniques
- 5+ years managing teams of 30+ individuals and first-line managers
- Good understanding of large scale engineering systems
- Experience in content moderation
- Strong leadership abilities
