Director, Software Engineering - Trust Foundations

LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead their Trust Foundations organization, a critical component of LinkedIn's trust and safety infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership with strategic vision, focusing on building and scaling distributed systems that protect LinkedIn's billion-plus member community.

The Trust Foundations team develops foundational systems that enable LinkedIn to maintain platform integrity and combat abuse effectively. As the Director, you'll lead teams building shared infrastructure that simplifies and scales trust defenses across the platform. This infrastructure helps anti-abuse teams move faster, detect evolving threats, and deploy cutting-edge defenses efficiently.

The role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in distributed systems, leadership experience with global teams, and strategic thinking about trust and safety challenges. You'll be responsible for defining the technical roadmap, making architectural decisions, and ensuring operational excellence while building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
