Manager, Software Engineering - CI Platforms

LinkedIn is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead their CI Platforms team within the Developer Platforms and Experience (DPX) organization. This is a critical role focused on providing automated, efficient software delivery pipelines used by LinkedIn developers daily.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of LinkedIn's developer infrastructure as the team undergoes significant transitions - migrating CI infrastructure to GitHub Actions and redesigning the microrepo infrastructure toward a monorepo-like structure. As the CI Platform team leader, you'll be responsible for building and mentoring an engineering team while working cross-functionally to gather requirements and prioritize the roadmap. The role involves owning the entire software development lifecycle - from design through deployment - of infrastructure systems that handle massive scale with high reliability.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industry experience in software development, with at least 1 year of management experience or staff-level engineering with management training. Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or Go are essential, as is experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.

LinkedIn offers an attractive compensation package including base pay range of $147,000-$240,000, plus annual bonus and equity. The role is based in Mountain View, CA with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility to work both remotely and in-office.
