Responsibilities For Manager, Technical Program Management
- Lead and develop TPM team and manage the right mix of projects and programs in the portfolio
- Develop strong partnerships with engineering, operations, and product management leaders
- Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning
- Lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths
- Mentor individuals in best practices for planning and execution
- Manage TPM allocation and ensure portfolio and project health through resource allocation, prioritization, and focus
- Support multiple cross-functional technical and operational teams
- Manage and maintain project backlogs and ensure forward momentum with project execution
- Evaluate, champion and drive adoption of Agile methodologies throughout the team
Requirements For Manager, Technical Program Management
- B.S./B.A. Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years professional experience in an engineering or technical team, managing technical programs/projects
- 1+ years of experience in engineering/technical management and people management
- 1+ years of management experience or 1+ years of staff level engineering experience with management training
