The position requires a strategic leader who can drive innovation in search technology, particularly in developing conversational and goal-oriented search experiences. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, while collaborating with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers.
As a Principal Product Manager, you'll be responsible for creating comprehensive strategies, setting prioritization principles, and maximizing impact within product constraints. The role involves leading cross-organizational projects, shaping roadmaps, and delivering on key objectives and key results (OKRs).
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in building large-scale consumer search products. You should have a strong understanding of Search AI and Infrastructure, experience with LLMs and Generative AI technologies, and exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to various audiences.
LinkedIn offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $180,000 to $290,000, plus annual performance bonus, stock options, and comprehensive benefits. The role supports a hybrid work model, allowing for both remote work and in-office collaboration at one of several locations including Mountain View, San Francisco, New York, or Bellevue.
