Description For Product Manager, Feed Relevance

LinkedIn is seeking an AI Product Manager to work on the core ranking of the Feed, focusing on how updates are optimized for engaging conversations and supporting other parts of the LinkedIn ecosystem. The role is part of LinkedIn's mission to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.

The Feed AI team is responsible for selecting and ranking posts from users' networks alongside ads and recommendations to create the Feed experience on LinkedIn's home page. This is a critical role that helps facilitate productive and professional conversations between connections about relevant interests.

As the Product Manager for Feed Relevance, you'll work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, and other product managers to develop and execute on the AI roadmap. You'll be responsible for aligning product strategy with model objectives, defining and prioritizing new features, and making data-driven decisions to improve the Feed experience.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of product management experience, strong analytical capabilities, and expertise in machine learning and AI systems. You should be comfortable collaborating across teams, diving deep into technical ML details, and driving product requirements from conception to launch.

  • Partner with PMs, data scientists, AI, applications, and infrastructure engineers to lay out a comprehensive AI roadmap
  • Align product strategy and member experience with model objectives through measurable metrics
  • Prioritize and help to define new features and model improvements
  • Drive global product requirements definition, product planning and product design
  • Clearly communicate product and platform benefits to users and internal stakeholders
  • Make data-driven decisions on how best to solve customer challenges

Requirements For Product Manager, Feed Relevance

  • 2+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role
  • BS/BA Degree in a technology-related field OR equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort making data-driven decisions
  • Experience in Machine Learning and working with Generative AI
  • Ability to collaborate and lead across multiple partner teams with strong systems thinking
  • Ability to deep dive into technical details of ML systems with engineers
