LinkedIn is seeking an AI Product Manager to work on the core ranking of the Feed, focusing on how updates are optimized for engaging conversations and supporting other parts of the LinkedIn ecosystem. As part of LinkedIn's vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce, this role will be crucial in enhancing the Feed AI team's capabilities in selecting and ranking posts from users' networks alongside ads and recommendations.
The role combines technical expertise in AI/ML with product management skills to drive the evolution of LinkedIn's Feed experience. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI strategies that improve content relevance and user engagement. The position offers the opportunity to impact how LinkedIn's 770M+ members connect, share, and engage with professional content.
Working in a hybrid environment across multiple office locations (Mountain View, San Francisco, New York, or Bellevue), you'll be responsible for developing the product strategy for Feed ranking, ensuring it aligns with both user needs and business objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with AI/ML systems, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into meaningful user experiences.
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary range of $123,000 to $201,000, plus additional benefits including annual performance bonus, stock options, and comprehensive healthcare coverage. Responsibilities For Product Manager, Feed Relevance
- Partner with PMs, data scientists, AI, applications, and infrastructure engineers to lay out a comprehensive AI roadmap
- Align product strategy and member experience with model objectives through measurable metrics
- Prioritize and help to define new features and model improvements
- Drive global product requirements definition, product planning and product design
- Clearly communicate product and platform benefits to users and internal stakeholders
- Make data-driven decisions on how best to solve customer challenges
Requirements For Product Manager, Feed Relevance
- 2+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role
- BS/BA Degree in a technology-related field OR equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills and comfort making data-driven decisions
- Experience in Machine Learning and working with Generative AI
- Ability to collaborate and lead across multiple partner teams
- Ability to deep dive into technical details of ML systems
