Description For Product Manager, Feed Relevance

LinkedIn is seeking an AI Product Manager to work on Feed Relevance, focusing on core ranking of the Feed. This role is crucial for optimizing how updates are presented for engaging conversations and supporting other parts of the LinkedIn ecosystem. The Feed AI team is responsible for selecting and ranking posts from users' networks alongside ads and recommendations to create the Feed experience on LinkedIn's home page.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in product management with AI/ML systems, particularly in ranking and recommendation systems for large feeds. They will partner with cross-functional teams including PMs, data scientists, AI engineers, and infrastructure teams to develop comprehensive AI roadmaps and drive product strategy.

Key responsibilities include aligning product strategy with model objectives through measurable metrics, prioritizing new features and model improvements, and making data-driven decisions through experimental analysis. The role requires deep technical understanding of ML systems and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple partner teams.

  • Partner with PMs, data scientists, AI, applications, and infrastructure engineers to lay out comprehensive AI roadmap
  • Align product strategy and member experience with model objectives through measurable metrics

Requirements For Product Manager, Feed Relevance

  • 2+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role
  • BS/BA Degree in a technology-related field OR equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort making data-driven decisions
  • Experience in Machine Learning and working with Generative AI
  • Ability to collaborate and lead across multiple partner teams
  • Ability to deep dive into technical details of ML systems
