Senior Engineer, Data Center (CA, OR, TX, or VA)

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network, is seeking a Senior Engineer for their Data Center team. This role is crucial in designing, building, and maintaining data centers that house and manage critical IT infrastructure. The position focuses on DCIM engineering, involving the evaluation, installation, and maintenance of data collection and power distribution devices within the data center.

The role requires deep expertise in configuring and troubleshooting cabinet power strips, busway monitors, and working with Building Management Systems (BMS). You'll be responsible for managing the installation of thousands of in-rack power distribution units, busway power monitors, and sensor deployments. The position demands strong technical skills in data center infrastructure design and maintenance, with a focus on power planning, structured cabling, and mechanical needs.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll collaborate with various teams to maintain DCIM tools, sensors, and power/cooling infrastructure accuracy. The role offers competitive compensation ($103,000-$170,000) and comprehensive benefits including health programs, equity, and performance bonuses. This is an in-person position available in several locations including the South Bay Area, CA, Hillsboro, OR, Richardson, TX, and Manassas, VA.
