  • Serve as the main point of contact and escalation point for the datacenter team
  • Monitor and support server builds on the initial deployment
  • Collect data on any systemic issues with hardware SKUs and participate in troubleshooting
  • Provide training for DC personnel performing break/fix work for servers
  • Contribute to improve hardware monitoring and diagnostics tools
  • Make recommendations on hardware platforms based on historical reliability data

Requirements For Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer – Production Hardware Capacity Engineering

Linux
Python
  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a Linux production environment performing system administration and hardware troubleshooting
  • 2+ years experience with a Linux configuration management system
  • 2+ years of experience scripting with Python, Ruby, Bash, Perl, or similar
  • 2+ years of experience benchmarking with common tools such as sysbench, bonnie++, ssdbench, iozone or similar
