Senior Manager, Data Science - PSM

LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Science for their Product Service & Marketplaces (PSM) team, focusing on LinkedIn Ads and Sales Solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Sunnyvale, CA, offering a competitive salary range of $162,000-$267,000 per year.

The role involves leading a data science team that's crucial in building data and intelligence into both Ads and Sales Solutions marketplaces. You'll be responsible for developing data foundations, applying statistical techniques for A/B testing and LTV estimation, and implementing machine learning solutions to optimize PSM processes.

As a leader, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, AI, design, and user research. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, product understanding, and business acumen, with a focus on making impact through creative storytelling and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include defining strategic vision for PSM growth, partnering with Marketing and Sales executive teams, building strong collaboration across teams, mentoring data scientists, and analyzing large-scale data sets. You'll be expected to foster a technology-driven culture and help talented scientists pursue their passion and career growth.

The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in team management. Strong background in statistics, data analysis, and programming (SQL, Python, R) is essential. Experience with large-scale data processing systems like Hadoop, Spark, and Trino is preferred.
