Description For Senior Manager, Product Quality

LinkedIn is seeking a strategic, customer-focused leader to champion product quality in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. This Senior Manager, Product Quality role is a hybrid position based in Omaha, NE, offering a competitive salary range of $149,000 to $247,000 per year.

As a Leader of Product Quality, you'll have extensive scope over a multibillion-dollar line of business, working across LinkedIn's ecosystem to implement proactive friction identification and swift resolution. You'll lead a global team of Technical Services Managers who serve as the primary interface between Member & Customer Success (MCS) and Engineering & Product (R&D) teams.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in product quality or related technical fields, along with 2+ years of people management experience. You'll be responsible for shaping vision and strategy, enhancing product quality, and driving operational efficiency across LinkedIn's consumer products. Key responsibilities include developing team members, partnering with engineering and product leadership, conducting quality reviews, and championing a culture of putting members first.

  • Attract, develop and lead a global team of Technical Services Managers
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to enhance product quality and craftsmanship
  • Shape vision & strategy for the team's operational model

Requirements For Senior Manager, Product Quality

  • BA/BS degree in technical or related field
  • 2+ years of people management experience (managing direct reports)
  • 8+ years of experience in product quality, quality assurance, quality engineering for software products, product operations, technical program management, technical support, or similar technical field
  • Strong results-orientation skills, problem solving, and experience utilizing data to identify critical trends
  • High bar for quality and perspective on product quality & operational best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels
