We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to work across several Infrastructure programs in Production Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) and Infra Business Engineering (IBE) org. The right candidate will have demonstrated solid leadership in leading teams and programs to deliver successful outcomes. This candidate is expected to perform using best practices for execution of our projects as well as initiating, planning, and executing large scale, cross functional, and company-wide critical programs. The ideal candidate will have an excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given. Interaction and leadership across functional lines is essential.

The candidate will be able to concisely articulate and abstract the project status, risks and success to various level of engineering org.

Responsibilities: • Lead and develop project plans including application releases/updates, data/hardware migrations, data center expansion/decommission, OS release & compliance and site stability/performance improvements. • Define, scope and track ancillary operations projects including capacity planning hardware procurement and deployment. • Manage and maintain project backlogs and ensure forward momentum with project execution. • Develop roadmaps and resource plans with leadership. • Manage dependencies between multiple projects. • Assess and mitigate risk exposure. • Lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths. • Partner with Director level leadership on project execution and team efficiency. • Set up team with Kanban, SCRUM processes, monitoring burn down charts, and enabling them to effectively run these processes. • Discover inefficiencies in our production pipelines and driving solutions to completion. • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, expertise, innovation, and learning. • Develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders.

Basic Qualifications: • 3+ years of full time program management experience within an Infra organization. • 4+ years Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network and Datacenter) discovery, design, build, and migration experience. • 6+ months of experience in Agile and Waterfall methodology. • B.S./B.A. Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications: • Strong practical understanding of managing the life-cycle of large-scale programs • Strong communication skills; skilled at cross-functional and cross-organizational communication. • Experience with software engineering practices and familiarity with coding techniques. • Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization. • Ability to successfully drive programs by creating strategic roadmaps and tactical execution plans. • Comprehensive knowledge of planning and collaboration tools. • Ability to quickly develop a detailed understanding of the architecture, tools, deployment practices. • Strong Data (metrics) based project tracking and delivery experience. • Solid project management skills including risk mitigation, stakeholder management and reporting.
