Sr. Director, Technical Risk & Compliance

LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead the Engineering Compliance & Governance team within the Information Security organization. This key leadership role combines technical expertise with strategic oversight of compliance and security initiatives. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility between remote work and office presence.

The role demands a seasoned professional with 12+ years of experience in information security and risk governance, including 10 years of senior leadership experience managing engineering teams at scale. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies, overseeing various audit regimes (PCI, NIST, SOC 2, ISO, etc.), and serving as a trusted advisor to R&D teams.

Key responsibilities include leading compliance programs, automating engineering controls, managing enterprise customer security requirements, and evolving security policy governance. The role requires expertise in multiple compliance frameworks and a proven track record of managing data systems at scale.

The position offers competitive compensation ($209,000 - $343,000) plus benefits including equity and annual performance bonus.
