Sr. Director, Technical Risk & Compliance

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network, is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Technical Risk & Compliance to lead their Engineering Compliance & Governance team within Information Security. This pivotal role combines technical leadership with compliance expertise, requiring a seasoned professional with 12+ years of experience in information security and risk governance.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $209,000 to $343,000, along with comprehensive benefits including equity, annual performance bonus, and full healthcare coverage. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a hybrid work arrangement, this role provides the flexibility to balance remote work with in-office collaboration.

As the Sr. Director, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing robust compliance and governance programs that protect LinkedIn's systems and data. Key responsibilities include leading risk management strategies, overseeing various audit regimes (PCI, NIST, SOC 2, ISO, etc.), and serving as a trusted advisor to R&D teams on security and compliance matters.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing engineering teams at scale, deep expertise in compliance frameworks, and a proven track record of leading compliance teams in similar-sized organizations. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners, including engineering, product, legal, and financial compliance teams, to enhance governance frameworks and build strong stakeholder relationships.
