Sr. Director, Technical Risk & Compliance

LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead the Engineering Compliance & Governance team within Information Security. This key leadership position will drive the development and implementation of robust compliance and governance programs, ensuring system and data security integrity across the organization.

The role involves leading risk management strategies, overseeing various compliance audits (PCI, NIST, SOC 2, ISO, etc.), and serving as a trusted advisor to R&D teams on security and compliance matters. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional partners including Engineering, Product, Legal, and Financial compliance teams to enhance governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include maintaining multiple audit regimes, evolving security policy governance, maturing risk management frameworks, and operationalizing business continuity programs. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of information security experience, with at least 10 years in senior leadership managing engineering teams at scale.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, competitive compensation ($209,000-$343,000), plus bonus and equity opportunities.
