Staff Engineer - Infrastructure Security

The role involves working within the Platform Security team, which provides security architecture and design services throughout LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing production workflows, hardening design patterns, and contributing to cutting-edge engineering initiatives. They will serve as a Security Partner, owning the security risk posture of partner engineering organizations.

Key responsibilities include building threat models, performing security design assessments, and implementing proof of concepts for security recommendations. The role requires excellent communication skills to articulate risk decisions and influence technical architecture. The position offers opportunities to mentor team members and coach Security Champions within partner organizations.

Candidates should have extensive experience in information security principles, container security, data security, network security, and CI/CD security.
