LinkedIn is seeking a Staff Product Designer to reimagine the ad formats and placements experience, helping advertisers reach the right audience through immersive, engaging content. This role, based in New York City with a hybrid work arrangement, requires strong systems thinking and interaction design skills. You'll be responsible for driving new, engaging ways for LinkedIn's 1 billion members to connect with companies, discovering products and services in fresh, impactful ways.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality consumer and enterprise experiences, with 7+ years of experience in user experience design. You'll need strong visual communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including user research, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science.

Responsibilities For Staff Product Designer

  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process
  • Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements
  • Be a partner throughout the product life cycle to product ideation with cross-functional partners to development with engineers

Requirements For Staff Product Designer

  • BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web or software applications
  • 7+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience
  • Strong experience in delivering large-scale projects independently
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and vision for respective projects and teams
  • Strong ability to deliver design solutions for unstructured problems that have many dependencies
  • Excellent ability in visual communication
