Staff Software Engineer - Systems and Infrastructure

LinkedIn is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Systems and Infrastructure team, working on next-generation platforms that power LinkedIn's global professional network. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining critical infrastructure components including application delivery platforms, compute platforms, scalable data storage systems, search platforms, AI infrastructure, and experimentation frameworks. You'll work with technologies like Apache Kafka, Pinot, Kubernetes, and other modern infrastructure tools.

The role requires strong technical leadership skills as you'll own technical strategy for complex requirements, mentor other engineers, and drive innovation while ensuring reliable system operation at scale. You'll collaborate with open-source communities and have the opportunity to contribute to LinkedIn's impressive portfolio of open-source projects.
