Responsibilities For Technical Writer

  • Write and organize external engineering documentation
  • Document complex internal and external APIs, infrastructure, systems, tools
  • Work with engineers to solve information problems
  • Represent Technical Documentation team on project teams
  • Assist with engineering blog posts, conference papers, and presentations
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute documentation projects
  • Help improve documentation organization and generation processes

Requirements For Technical Writer

Python
Java
  • 2+ years experience as a technical writer
  • Experience with API writing and development procedures
  • Experience working with customer support teams
  • B.A. or B.S. in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or related field
  • Knowledge of Python, Java, or other programming language
  • Experience with in-code documentation systems (such as Sphinx)
