LinkedIn is seeking an exceptional Vice President to lead their Data Infrastructure organization, a newly established division responsible for all aspects of data across LinkedIn. The position oversees five major engineering verticals: Data Processing and Pipelines (DPP), Data Management, Tracking - Telemetry Platform, Unified Metrics Platform (UMP), and DARWIN (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Workbench at LinkedIn) and Data in Motion. Leading a team of over 400 world-class engineers, you'll be responsible for developing scalable, high-performance data infrastructure to support real-time data processing, analytics, and LinkedIn's all-in AI initiatives.
As VP1 of Development Engineering, you'll define and implement comprehensive data strategies spanning stream and batch processing, compute engines, data ingestion, data movement, data management, and data lake operations. The role requires ensuring efficient data discovery, cataloging, compliance, and access controls across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in large-scale data infrastructure, combined with strategic vision and proven experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and from LinkedIn's office, with competitive compensation ranging from $298,000 to $488,000, plus benefits including equity and annual performance bonuses.
