LinkedIn is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead their Data Infrastructure organization, a critical division responsible for all aspects of data across LinkedIn. This newly established organization spans five major engineering verticals: Data Processing and Pipelines (DPP), Data Management, Tracking - Telemetry Platform, Unified Metrics Platform (UMP), and DARWIN (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Workbench at LinkedIn) and Data in Motion.

You'll lead a team of over 400 world-class engineers, developing scalable, high-performance data infrastructure to support real-time data processing, analytics, and LinkedIn's all-in AI initiatives. The position requires defining and implementing comprehensive data strategies spanning stream and batch processing, compute engines, data ingestion, data movement, data management, data lake, while ensuring efficient data discovery, cataloging, compliance, and access controls.
As VP1 of Development Engineering, you'll be instrumental in driving LinkedIn's technical excellence and innovation across all data functions. The role demands a unique combination of technical expertise in large-scale data infrastructure, strategic thinking, and proven leadership ability. You'll work closely with senior leadership to align data infrastructure initiatives with company priorities while fostering a culture of strong craftsmanship and execution.
The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $298,000 to $488,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
