LinkedIn is seeking a Vice President to lead their Data Infrastructure organization, a newly established division responsible for all aspects of data across LinkedIn. This role will oversee five major engineering verticals: Data Processing and Pipelines (DPP), Data Management, Tracking - Telemetry Platform, Unified Metrics Platform (UMP), and DARWIN (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Workbench at LinkedIn) and Data in Motion.
The position requires leading a team of over 400 world-class engineers, developing scalable, high-performance data infrastructure to support real-time data processing, analytics, and AI initiatives. The VP will be responsible for defining and implementing data strategies spanning stream and batch processing, compute engines, data ingestion, data movement, data management, data lake, while ensuring efficient data discovery, cataloging, compliance, and access controls.
