Staff Infrastructure Engineer

LiveKit is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to join their mission of helping developers create and scale real-time experiences. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be instrumental in managing and scaling the core components of LiveKit's infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring visibility, performance, and reliability of their globally distributed architecture.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining foundational infrastructure, working with golang codebases, implementing SRE objectives, and leading incident management for complex situations. The position requires expertise in both software engineering and large-scale system administration, with particular emphasis on managing multi-region distributed systems running on Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in infrastructure management, demonstrating passion for maintainability while balancing system complexity with delivery deadlines.
