Description For Billing Systems Technical Lead/Developer

As a Billing Systems Technical Lead or Developer at LivePerson, you'll be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce Billing + CPQ solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions, reporting to the Associate Director of Business Systems. The role requires a proactive self-starter capable of managing multiple projects independently in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Implementing complex workflows, validation rules, and process automations
  • Integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and ETL tools
  • Performing testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Staying current with Salesforce releases and best practices
  • Providing technical support and mentoring junior developers

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud, as well as a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle ERP is a plus.

  • Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies
  • Collaborate with business analysts and teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design and implement complex Salesforce workflows, validation rules, and process automations
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices
  • Provide technical support and expertise to team members and stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge and best practices

Requirements For Billing Systems Technical Lead/Developer

JavaScript
  • 7+ years of increasing responsibility in Salesforce for Sales cloud, CPQ, Revenue cloud, Zuora Billing
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, IT or equivalent
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
